need to study
midterms monday, so i'm studying!
"Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall." -- Confucius
I had four large losses so far, two of which were placed during the Christmas holiday season.
Guess what? I scored a 94 out 100! Rank wise, I scored 6th out of 244th!
I screwed up on the first LS2 midterm. during the summer I took LS1 and chem14A, both of which I got A's in and so I went into my first quarter here thinking this will be a piece of cake. So I approached ls2 very mechanically, doing basically the same thing that I did during the summer, reading and taking notes and reading notes to prepare for the exam. However, I ended up with a 80. The average was 75. And since the class is curved so that only 10 percent get A's. I basically need to get EVERYTHING right from now on to have a slight chance of getting an A in the class.
USC didn't offer me any money other than the half tuition scholarship so I picked UCLA! I'm very excited! I got into Berkeley too, but I like UCLA more.
I have gotten into all of my schools so far, and I'm quite sure that I will attend UCLA. The only school that might have a chance at pulling me away from UCLA is Columbia, but I don't know, I don't think I'm quite ready to leave LA for New York. I don't think I can live in New York by myself with other strangers. I have friends and family in LA, and I'll probably become a Bruin very soon!
